Why Smart TVs are not so smart.

Smart TVs are called “smart” because they have built-in internet connectivity and are designed to allow users to access streaming services, browse the web, and use various apps directly on their television. However, there are several reasons why some people may feel that smart TVs are not as smart as they should be:

  1. Limited Apps: Smart TVs often have a limited selection of apps compared to smartphones or tablets, which can make it difficult to access certain services or content.
  2. Slow Software Updates: Smart TV manufacturers may be slow to release software updates, leaving users with outdated software that can cause issues with streaming or browsing.
  3. Security Risks: Smart TVs can be vulnerable to security risks such as hacking, malware, and viruses, which can compromise personal data and even damage the device.
  4. User Interface: Some users find the user interface of smart TVs to be confusing or difficult to navigate, which can be frustrating.

Overall, while smart TVs have many features that can make them a convenient option for accessing content, they may still have limitations that prevent them from being as “smart” as some people would like.
