Despite what the cell phone manufacturers will try and tell you, not every phone needs to be an all-singing, all-dancing wonder phone. Sure, if you want to have more memory than you can handle to store songs you’ll hardly listen to or videos you’ll hardly watch, a high-specification phone will be what you’re after. On top of the aesthetic design, Verizon has also seen fit to make the Wireless Coupe as easy to use as possible when it actually comes to operating the handset. The keypad buttons are laid out sensibly, and are slightly larger than other similarly sized models. The display screen is another area where this phone stands out – instead of the cluttered screens that so many small handsets come with these days, the Verizon Wireless Coupe has a menu that is presented in larger than average icons and fonts. This makes navigating your way through the phone extremely easy and foolproof. And even if you do have problems reading the large display, there’s also a handy voice recognition system at work here.
With a dedicated 911 call button, colour-coded controls for volume and charging, and all the normal features you’d come to expect in a phone such as calendar and organiser, the Verizon Wireless Coupe is an excellent little unit. Whether you’re an older person who just wants a straightforward phone, or a parent who wants to be able to provide a little extra safety for their child, this phone is ideal. And at less than $20 on contract, it won’t break the bank either.
