Hi Chuck! I went to Buy's site looking for the Hawking HNAS1 but it is out of stock. I am starting to notice that the lower cost devices are becoming difficult to find - maybe manufactures have found the expanded features sets offer a better margin? The ADS model ( http://www.buy.com/prod/ads-nas-drive-kit/q/loc/101/201684683.html )is still a fairly good deal at $50 US. Any higher cost than that and Linux on an old PC begins to look more attractive.

$23 is pretty good for a NAS enclosure. If you have an IDE drive as a spare you might as well hook it up to the home network.
