Facebook’s Video calling allows you to video chat with your friends face to face. You’ll need a webcam and a computer microphone (most new laptops have them) and you’ll need to complete a quick, one-time setup, then you’re ready to video chat with any of your friends on Facebook.. If your friend isn’t available for video chat, you can leave a video voicemail.
With 750 million members, Facebook is the world’s largest social network, and now Facebook users can easily have video and voice chats with each other after installing a small applet that is the result of a partnership with Skype.
Nearly all new laptops and netbooks have integrated cameras. Many homes (at least those having teenagers) also likely have webcams and microphones connected to their desktop computers. The biggest inconvenience to video communcation before was that you’d either have to leave your GMail or Skype application running or arrange a time to meet a video friend on those services. Facebook’s Video Calling is a small program for Facebook that allows you to video chat with your Facebook friends Perhaps you’ve tried Facebook Video Calling and either you no longer want it installed or your computer wasn’t compatible with it.

Google Voice Search Chrome Browser
Google voice search has been added to the Google Chrome browser. Google Voice search has been available for some time on iPhones and other smart phones, but it’s integration with the Google Chrome browser provides another reason why you may want to use the Google Chrome browser instead of or in addition to your regular browser.
In your search box, a microphone is now displayed. Click the microphone and dictate the search you’d like to perform, for example, say, “Weather in Boulder Colorado.” When you stop speaking, your spoken text will appear in the Google search box and the Google search will be completed automatically.
Many of use could never imagine a few years ago that we could talk to our computers and have them successfully perform operations. I have a feeling that Google Voice search is a sample of things to come.
