AsUType adds a spell checker to any Windows program and is similar to the predictive spell checker on your iPhone or iPad.
AsUType allows you to choose an automatic correction mode which automatically fixes misspellings as you type, or an interactive correction mode that underlines misspelled words and beeps, prompting you to select a corrected spelling from a drop down list that appears near the misspelled word. The interactive correction mode is much like the predictive text spell checking that’s available on the iPhone and iPad.

Facebook’s Video calling allows you to video chat with your friends face to face. You’ll need a webcam and a computer microphone (most new laptops have them) and you’ll need to complete a quick, one-time setup, then you’re ready to video chat with any of your friends on Facebook.. If your friend isn’t available for video chat, you can leave a video voicemail.

Nearly all new laptops and netbooks have integrated cameras. Many homes (at least those having teenagers) also likely have webcams and microphones connected to their desktop computers.
