Google Voice Search Chrome Browser
Google voice search has been added to the Google Chrome browser. Google Voice search has been available for some time on iPhones and other smart phones, but it’s integration with the Google Chrome browser provides another reason why you may want to use the Google Chrome browser instead of or in addition to your regular browser.
In your search box, a microphone is now displayed. Click the microphone and dictate the search you’d like to perform, for example, say, “Weather in Boulder Colorado.” When you stop speaking, your spoken text will appear in the Google search box and the Google search will be completed automatically.
Many of use could never imagine a few years ago that we could talk to our computers and have them successfully perform operations. I have a feeling that Google Voice search is a sample of things to come.

6/24/2011 Update: Google has decided to discontinue Google PowerMeter as of September 16, 2011. Google created PowerMeter and “Google Health” (also being discontinued on January 1, 2012) were both based on the idea that, with more and better information, people could make smarter choices about personal health and wellness, or conserving energy at home. In short: If you can know your usage of electricity, real time, then you can reduce your usage of electricity.
IMPORTANT: You can use the devices described in this article to collect and analyze your electric meter data - without Google Power Meter. Some of the electric usage monitor devices have integrated internet connectivity. Others require connection to another device, such as an Internet bridge that connects the electric usage monitor to your internet router.
